Getting Started
Your Linksys PAP2/T should contain the following items.
1. Linksys PAP2
2. Power supply
3. Phone cable
4. Network cable
5. Quickstart guide
If you have purchased your PAP2/T (Fonebox Version One) from Fonebox, your hardware will be
pre-configured and ready to use! Please note that steps 1 - 4 only of ‘Setting up your hardware’ apply to
fonebox products. BYO Customers should proceed with the remaining instructions of this guide.
Setting up your hardware
Step
?? Connect the power cable to your PAP2/T (Fonebox PAP2)
Step ?? Connect the network cable from your PAP2 to your DHCP enabled Modem/router
Step ?? Connect an analogue phone to the “Phone 1″ port in the PAP2
Step ?? Turn the power on
IMPORTANT:
The remaining instructions within this document apply to BYO Device customers only.

?? Pick up the phone and Dial ****
(You should hear a voice saying
“Sipura Configuration Menu”)
Step ?? Factory Reset - any pre-existing settings within your device will be lost!
Dial
73738# then Dial 1 to confirm.
ont> Step ?? Repeat Step ?? then Dial 110# Write down the IP address that is returned to you __________________________ Configuring the Linksys PAP2 via the Web Interface Step ?? Open a web browser from your PC and type in the IP address recorded previously. http://<IP Address of V1> ( e.g. http://192.168.1.10 ) The Linksys Phone Adapter Configuration screen will now be showing on your screen.
